During the day we will be running a real ale bar plus a BBQ though out the day.

The Rules

1.0       Each game shall consist of 5 overs except the final which will be played over 8 overs.

2.0       The wining team from Groups A and B will contest the final, with the team achieving the most points from their two games progressing.  Two points shall be awarded for a win and one each for a tie.  If teams have the same points after all games completed the qualifying team shall be decided on net run rate.

3.0       Wicketkeepers cannot bowl, everyone else bowls one 6 ball over.

4.0       Wides count as an extra four runs plus any runs actually taken with the wide, if the wide goes to the boundary it is 5 runs.  There is no extra ball except within the final over of each match, where the same runs will be counted and an extra ball bowled.

5.0       No Balls count as an extra four runs plus any runs actually taken as with the wide, if the No Ball goes to the boundary it is 5 runs.  There is no extra ball except within the final over of each match, where the same runs will be counted and an extra ball bowled.

6.0       Batsmen retire on thirty but can come back after the fall of the 5th wicket, the 5th batsman out must act as a runner to the 6th batsman and so on for the retired batsmen until everyone is out should this occur in less than five overs.

7.0       £30 per team on entry.

8.0       Cricket whites must be worn by all teams.

Each game will be played from start to conclusion unlike last year.
Timings given are approximate.

 A raffle (prizes to be confirmed) will be drawn prior to the commencement of the final.

This will be followed by Prize Giving of the Guy and Peter Partridge Cup to the winners.
